Almond Ginger Dip as seen on The Everday Show

This is a delicious dip that uses heart-healthy fats along with creamy Greek yogurt and low-fat salad dressing to create an Asian flavor that goes well any fare. We use this as a yummy dip for veggies or chips, and it’s also wonderful as a marinade for chicken breasts or flank steak.


1 cup plain, natural-brand Greek yogurt

1/4 cup natural-brand sour cream

1 cup almond butter or natural-brand peanut butter

1/4 cup low-sodium Tamari or soy sauce

1/2 cup Annie’s Gingerly Vinaigrette salad dressing

Pinch of salt to taste

Put all ingredients in a blender or VitaMix and blend until smooth. Keep stored in airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve. The dip will thicken a little for a dip if you make 1-2 hours in advance. Just add a touch of water if you need to thin the mixture to use as a marinade. Enjoy!
